===== Running on Comet =====

You can run ChimeraX on Comet by starting it from an [[advanced:interactive|Open OnDemand desktop environment]]. We strongly recommend one of the **GPU desktop sessions**.

Once the desktop is loaded, open the terminal application and load the module and start the application as follows:

$ ChimeraX

The normal ChimeraX interface will start, and the normal tutorials and interactive tools work correctly:
