====== ChimeraX ====== > UCSF ChimeraX (or simply ChimeraX) is the next-generation molecular visualization program from the Resource for Biocomputing, Visualization, and Informatics (RBVI), following UCSF Chimera. * See https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/ ===== Running on Comet ===== You can run ChimeraX on Comet by starting it from an [[advanced:interactive|Open OnDemand desktop environment]]. We strongly recommend one of the **GPU desktop sessions**. Once the desktop is loaded, open the terminal application and load the module and start the application as follows: $ module load ChimeraX $ ChimeraX The normal ChimeraX interface will start, and the normal tutorials and interactive tools work correctly: {{:advanced:software:chimerax_ood_desktop.png?1400|}} ---- [[:advanced:software|Back to Software]]
