**The Research Computing [[Community Wiki]]** was started by the Community in July 2026.  Everyone is welcome to contribute and update.  The aim is to pool knowledge about resources for all research computing, not just HPC!

Their mission is to establish a research environment that recognises the vital role of software in research. The RSE Society work to increase software skills across everyone in research, to promote collaboration between researchers and software experts, and to support the creation of an academic career path for Research Software Engineers.

If you have a specific issue in accessing existing HPC facilities, need to report a problem with **Comet**, or have a technical question which is not addressed by the content of this documentation, please do email the hpc mailbox.  We //still// use the NUIT NUService portal to manage support requests:
