MEGAN

MEGAN is a software module available on Comet.

MEGAN overview

To access MEGAN on Comet, run module load MEGAN. This will load the default version of MEGAN.

An overview of the module information is shown below (module -r spider ^MEGAN$): 

MEGAN: MEGAN/6.25.3-Java-17
    Description:
      MEGAN is a comprehensive toolbox for interactively analyzing microbiome data

    This module can be loaded directly: module load MEGAN/6.25.3-Java-17

If there are multiple versions of MEGAN listed, then you can load a specific version as follows: 

$ module load MEGAN/version_string

You can find the most up to date information whilst logged on to Comet by running module -r spider ^MEGAN$.
