canu

canu is a software module available on Comet.

To access canu on Comet, run module load canu. This will load the default version of canu.

An overview of the module information is shown below (module -r spider ^canu$):

canu: canu/2.3.0
    Description:
      Canu - A single molecule sequence assembler for PacBio and Oxford Nanopore data

    This module can be loaded directly: module load canu/2.3.0

    Help:
      Canu is a specialized genome assembler for high-noise long reads (such as PacBio or Nanopore).

If there are multiple versions of canu listed, then you can load a specific version as follows:

$ module load canu/version_string

You can find the most up to date information whilst logged on to Comet by running module -r spider ^canu$.
