ChimeraX

UCSF ChimeraX (or simply ChimeraX) is the next-generation molecular visualization program from the Resource for Biocomputing, Visualization, and Informatics (RBVI), following UCSF Chimera.

Running on Comet

You can run ChimeraX on Comet by starting it from an Open OnDemand desktop environment. We strongly recommend one of the GPU desktop sessions.

Once the desktop is loaded, open the terminal application and load the module and start the application as follows:

$ module load ChimeraX
$ ChimeraX

The normal ChimeraX interface will start, and the normal tutorials and interactive tools work correctly:
