Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+

STAR-CCM+ is licensed software and only authorised users will be able to run the software by checking out their allocated license from the Siemens license server.

STAR-CCM+ is available to install on campus Windows machines. We will endeavour to make available the same version number on Comet as is current on Windows. Users who need smaller version changes can download and unzip the software in their own project area, or download the installer and ask us to move the software to a shared area for all users.

The version of STAR-CCM+ in Windows Software Center is 'mixed precision' to allow it to run on standard PCs and laptops The version of STAR-CCM+ on Comet is 'double precision' to take advantage of higher resources of the HPC Software version ending in R8 are double precision variants of that version.
