This is a project which is currently making use of HPC facilities at Newcastle University. It is active.
For further information about this project, please contact:
The project enables UG students on MEC3098 to use HPC facilities. This will typically be running PeleLM, a DNS solver for reacting Navier-Stokes equations. Research interests are using hydrogen as a carbon-free fuel, and thermodiffusive instabilities in lean premixed flames.
The numerical solver is PeleLM, developed at the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Further details can be found here: https://amrex-combustion.github.io/PeleLMeX/
