Project Description

Research into far-from-equilibrium dynamics, turbulence, and metrology in ultracold Bose gases. We use both the Gross-Pitaevskii equation and c-field methods to study these quantum superfluid systems; these descriptions model the system as one, or a statistical ensemble of, possibly stochastic PDEs, usually in two or three dimensions.

Software or Compute Methods

Primarily own software. Shared-memory parallelized jobs using OpenMP-enabled C / C++ / fortran codes, and jobs using GPU compute written in CUDA C++.
