Project Description

AIMPRO is an academic Fortran based code.

It is currently being used by the PI on Topsy with a range of problem sizes routinely requiring between 4 and 32 node calculations, but larger simulation problems are anticipated for aspects of the PI's student project activities.

Software or Compute Methods

This project primarily involves the use of AIMPRO, which I understand has been tested on the machine.

Generic software tools including gnuplot, jmol, perl, python (2 and 3) and emacs are helpful.

Access to this resource will underpin the computational aspects of the Diamond Science and Technology CDT and related PhD students associated with the PI, as well as direct use by the PI.
