Project Description

This project is used by the Research Software Engineering team to enable HPC training workshops to run on the Comet HPC facility. There is not a permanent membership of this project - members will be added and removed as needed for the various sessions.

Software or Compute Methods

The RSE HPC training mostly covers the https://www.hpc-carpentry.org syllabus, so uses most of the standard unix command line tools, as well as common Slurm workload manager commands for writing, submitting and monitoring user jobs. A small amount of programming is covered to illustrate basic principles of parallel programming or compute.
