Project Description

Under the umbrella of this project, Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS), Large Eddy Simulations (LES) and Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS) of turbulent single- and multi-phase flows are conducted using both in-house and open-source codes. The project will be used also for postprocessing the simulation data.

Software or Compute Methods

We plan to use OpenFOAM, Code_SATURNE and SENGA+ and SENGA-OPS (in-house) codes. These codes utilise mostly CPU-type infrastructure, but SENGA-OPS has the capability to utilise both CPU and GPU or hybrid infrastructures.
