Project Description

Research into the evolution of transport proteins in insects, focusing on the expansions of the SLC36 transport family within insects and the following divergence in transport substrate specificity.

Software or Compute Methods

Phylogenomic and phylogenetic analysis software, including gene family characterisation (iqtree2, OMA, OrthoLoger, eggnog-mapper).
