Project Description

Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and post-GWAS analyses in various liver diseases including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) (now known as Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD)), alcoholic liver cirrhosis and autoimmune liver disease.


Software or Compute Methods

A wide variety of command-line Statistical Genetics (e.g. PLINK) and Bioinformatics software packages will be used, along with other statistical/data analysis/programming tools such as R, Python, C++.
