This project considers the development of Bayesian methods for seamless and adaptive designs in the development pipeline for novel diagnostic tests. The aim is to develop a statistical framework which could make the diagnostic development pipeline more efficient. The project will use Bayesian methods, including Markov chain Monte Carlo methods and will involve simulation studies and applications to case studies based on real-world data.
