Project Description

A project aiming to profile mitochondrial genomic aberrations in childhood cancers. This will apply approaches in long and short read genome sequences approaches to characterise mitochondria in childhood cancers.

Software or Compute Methods

This project will utilise inhouse developed pipelines for bioinformatic analysis of genome sequencing data. Specific packages for general usage include SAMtools, modkit, and minimap2. Custom scripting in BASH, R and python will also be used.
